Gardner captures another youth at Oberlin Road gas station
Matt Gardner, Oberlin road station proprietor, and roommate George Vergith trapped a 14?year?old youth after lights failed and shots were fired near the Old Mill station. The prisoner, identified as Tony Carroll of Massachusetts, said he had a partner who escaped. Sheriff Clarence Adams took custody. Gardner, famed as a bandit nemesis, has reportedly killed one and captured 11 since opening the station, which has been burglarized many times.

Bonus Brigade Enters Ohio
The Bonus Brigade of War Veterans from Portland Oregon crossed into Ohio today near Cincinnati. They were met by seven cars carrying 14 Hamilton County deputies and state highway trucks. State to Aid Cleveland Street and Lake Avenue Repairs

Roar Of Muskets At Lick Run Mine Zone
In Nelsonville Ohio May 27 the muskets roared as Company I Columbus Ohio National Guard fired sporadic shots at snipers near the Lick Run mine shaft. No injuries were reported amid a miners strike and a recent dispute over reopening the mine. Guardsmen were sent Tuesday by Governor White.
