Injured man dies after water truck accident
Henry Ruhl, 63, of Elyria, died at Elsha Clinic after being thrown under a water tank cart driven by a truck on West River road during culvert work. He suffered arm and leg fractures, had shown brief improvement, and died around four this morning. Funeral at St. Pauls Evangelical church Thursday. He leaves a widow, two children, and multiple relatives. Burial in Crown Hill cemetery.

State highway officials today opened bids for the Elyria to Grafton road paving project near Route 82 south of LaPorte marking the third and final Lorain County paving job.
