Elyria woman Carolyn Foster 68 dies after long career in social work
Carolyn Foster of Elyria died May 24 2004 at her home. She was 68 and had lived in Elyria 30 years after stints in Louisville and Ridgeville. A WVU graduate with a MSW from Washington University, she worked as a psychiatric social worker for Kaiser Permanente in Parma Brook Park and in St Louis with Jewish Family Services and the county health department. She volunteered for several groups and earned a Hall of Fame Award from Erie Shores Photography Club. Survivors include husband Paul, son Eric, and a granddaughter.
