Milan Museum Revives Past Exhibits and Artifacts
The Milan Historical Museum showcases an antique glass collection donated by Milan native Robert D. Mowry along with a notable doll collection by Mrs Mildred Smith Coulton. The 1846 building hosts relics, a gun collection, a blacksmith shop, pioneer kitchen, Great Lakes ship tools, old costumes, and a historic flag. Open May to October daily 1pm to 5pm except Mondays.

Scenic yet Challenging Elyria Area Golf Courses Open
Three semi private courses in the Elyria North Ridgeville area, Forest Hills Creekwood and Pinebrook, open this summer. Forest Hills on Rt 20 north of Rt 10 offers 3344 yards par 26 nine holes with No 7 a 444 yard par four and plans to add nine holes. Creekwood in North Eaton on Reed Rd is a 6000 yard par 71 with new holes interspersed among old, praised greens and No 10 415 yards as toughest. Pinebrook on Durkee Rd south of Ridgeville spans 2865 yards par 35/36 with No 9 par four over a creek and clubhouse remodeling in progress.
