Aqua Marine Lodge at 216 Miller Rd Avon Lake adds an all new wing with a banquet hall for 500, private kitchen and lounge. The expansion features windows overlooking the golf course and plans for a candy kitchen. Eight motel units, dining rooms, lounges, and recreational facilities attract guests from New York Massachusetts and beyond.

Indian Hollow Lake Park Opens On Private Estate in LaGrange
The Indian Hollow Lake park on Indian Hollow Road in LaGrange Township offers camping swimming fishing and picnicking as a semi private club run by Mr and Mrs Donald Gardner nine miles southeast of Elyria. The five acre spring fed lake supports bass walleye catfish and panfish with a silica sand beach and lifeguards daily through September. The facility has bathhouse restrooms and year round facilities, with trailers and tents allowed anywhere in the park. An 18 hole golf course is planned with first nine holes usable in 1967 and last nine in 1968.

Lorain plans to open Lakeview and Century parks by Memorial Day weekend. Lakeview offers 75 picnic tables 20 grills fishing tennis courts a softball area playground lawn bowling and a rose garden with 4000 rose bushes and a colored fountain.
