Englefield Backs Beat Metzenbaum In Four Way GOP Bid
Tipp City businessman Richard H. Englefield says Metzenbaum can be beaten in a four way GOP Senate primary. Fellow contenders include State Senator Paul Pfeifer Walter Beckford and State Senator William Ross all seeking the Republican nomination to challenge Democratic Sen. Howard Metzenbaum. Englefield outlines a non Reaganomic platform with Sugar Bill support tax incentives farm exports and United Nations Falkland crisis peacekeeping. He notes limited funding but argues a wide cross county effort in small cities could win.
