Lorain 23 year old Angel Andujar was arrested Tuesday on cruelty to animals charges for pouring paint thinner on a Great Dane and setting it on fire after the dog allegedly bit his car. The burned dog was found in an abandoned basement behind his home following a tip. A witness said he saw smoke from a body shop and found Andujar laughing as the dog burned. Andujar denied deliberate ignition. The dog, a female, may not survive according to a Lorain Animal Clinic veterinarian.
