Pan Am Terminal Bomb Kills 1 As Another Bomb Found
A pipe bomb exploded in the Pan Am World Airways Terminal at Kennedy Airport injuring and killing a man identified as Alex Mcmullan of Queens. A second, larger bomb was found unexploded on a different level near Gates 18 and 19. The caller claimed Puerto Rican Armed Resistance responsibility and warned of bombs at the terminal and Flight 403. The terminal was evacuated and reopened by midmorning.
