Flames Destroy Large Barn near Elyria
Fire of undetermined origin destroyed a large barn a corn crib with 900 bushels of corn and two heifers on Roger Richardson’s farm four miles west of Elyria on Oberlin road. Discovered shortly before noon yesterday the blaze raged through the wood structures, and Richardson said he drove a bull out but could not rescue the heifers amid the smoke. Other stock was in pasture at the time.
