Two tornadoes and fierce winds damaged homes and businesses in Columbia and demolished a mobile home near Hartsville, injuring seven people. A tornado touched down near Orangeburg around 2:20 a.m., with three children and a woman sustaining minor injuries. A separate tornado was reported near Hartsville, and a tornado watch covered several states.
