Mother of four dies in Route 10 crash near Kipton

Sharon Lee Butler 26 of Green Road Wakeman RD 2 died at 5:05 p.m. at Allen Memorial after a two car collision at Route 10 and Vermilion Road. Morris 35 of Oberlin RD 1 northbound turned left and struck Butler who was en route to Kipton to pick up her two oldest children. Butler is survived by her husband and four children. funeral arrangements handled by Gerber Funeral Home Wakeman.

Kenney wins national Pro Football Hall of Fame photo award

He won first place in color feature and earned an honorable mention in the same division. His winning entry Divided Attention will hang in Canton. the honorable mention On Target will be displayed temporarily. Kenney previously won an honorable mention in 1969.
