Three Years In Europe Too Long Say Women Of Army And Air Force
United Press dispatch from Frankfurt reports Army and Air Force women in Europe broadly dislike the three year tour. WAC Sgt Mildred Baum says two years would be plenty, echoed by WAFs at Wiesbaden and WACs at Heidelberg Salzburg and Paris. WAVES in England also prefer a shorter tour. Many volunteers are involuntarily assigned yet remain enthusiastic about living abroad with some planning trips home during leaves.
