Baltimore trial begins in Freddie Gray death case
Prosecutors say Officer Edward Nero failed in duty when he and other officers unlawfully arrested Freddie Gray and did not buckle his seat belt. The defense counters Nero did not participate in the arrest and only later aided Gray, while a judge will determine which version is correct. Gray died April 19 after a neck injury in the police wagon.
