Western Reserve opposes bill to force district consolidation
Western Reserve school board voted to urge deletion of sections of a state house education bill. The measure would require smaller districts under 2,000 students to consolidate, with state aid cuts to speed the process. The board argued larger systems may fail to yield gains and favor efficiency. The group also reported 67 seniors approved for graduation and promoted the prom date.
