Gary Kneisley became general manager of WBEA FM and WEOL AM in Elyria in December. He brought in Drew Bentley, a rising radio personality, to lead personality development for the station.
Bentley 33 will be program director and afternoon announcer at WBEA after stints at KDTH in Dubage and stations in Minneapolis Omaha and Dayton He aims to move WBEA from a background music focus to a foreground personality driven station while boosting community involvement and adding a listener request line.
Evening listings show academic challenge from Gar field and Science High with Chanel. country music on THIS WEEK IN COUNTRY MUSIC featuring Oak Ridge Boys and Janie Fricke. TV AUCTION fundraiser. numerous movies on CINEMAX TMC HBO WTBS and more. Notable titles include The Beasts Are On The Streets Midnight Express Porky's and The Wild Geese with cast members Carol Lynley Timothy Hutton Brad Davis Richard Burton and Gene Hackman.
TV guide listing features crime dramas and thrillers such as Chinatown and Firestarter with cast details.
