Miss Marie Perry and Dick Hoose of Elyria High school are credited with preventing a burglary at East River and Fourth streets. Hoose observed a partly open door Saturday and stayed to alert police while Perry called for help. Two men in a car watched from a gas station and fled when alerted. police believe a robbery was planned.
