Amherst Notches 100th Win Behind Moore’s Seven Strikeouts
Amherst caps a milestone 7-2 win over North Olmsted in SWC action. Senior Xavier Moore dominated with nine strikeouts in five frames as the Comets, led by Mark Harris and a strong batting order, improved to 19-4 overall and 14-1 in league play. North Olmsted’s Cole Wagner and Sam Guercio proved tough, but Moore’s fastball and wind aided Amherst’s offense. Coach Matt Rositano deflects focus from the milestone to team performance.
