Dotson Freed on Bond After Rape Conviction
Dotson 28, who served six years for the rape of Cathleen Crowell Webb, was released from Dixon Correctional Center after his mother posted 10 000 cash bond. More than 100 well wishers greeted him as he pledged a low profile and awaited an Illinois Supreme Court review and potential clemency. A meeting with Webb was discussed but not planned until legal matters are resolved.
