Thieves pried open a back window at LaGrange Township High School and stole 24 typewriters, two electric roasters, and four hams in a Sunday night to Monday morning burglary. Police and Lorain County officers investigated after the building was found secured at 6 am. The school was closed until 10:50 am to preserve clues. Investigators suspect a small truck was used, with activity centered behind the building and a nearby kitchen area targeted.
