Tuition hike at Lorain County Community College rises 3 percent
Lorain County Community College will raise tuition 3 percent this summer and add 1.40 per credit hour in fees, pushing in county costs to 47.70 and out of county costs to 57.70. Flames consume Grafton eatery in oldest village building
Flames ripped through Nader's Family Restaurant at 886 Main St in downtown Grafton Thursday night. One firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation and the 150 year old attached vacant house was destroyed. Building owner names are listed as Judith Biott and Cheryl Becker of New London.

An 85 year old man died after turning onto Oberlin Elyria Road from Russia Road and colliding with a southbound car driven by a 17 year old. The 87 year old woman was struck while crossing the road at 12:30 p.m. and suffered a broken pelvis and leg. No charges filed.
