Ten to twenty thousand or more massed Sunday as Northern Ireland Protestants rally against British rule. Lorain suitor blamed in murder suicide double death
Lorain police described a fatal shooting at Emma Hutchens home by 55 year old Franklin Butler of Avanta Georgia who then killed himself after shooting Hutchens 43. Wanda Hutchens 18 witnessed the drama and told of Butler’s threat to marry her mother. The 38 caliber revolver was found under Butler. Wanda Ronald 17 and Virtue 21 treated for shock at St Joseph Hospital.

Accordion swap ends with police return and instrument
In Curitiba Brazil Antonio de Luz swapped his wife Maria and four children for Antonio da Rosa and his wife and four children plus an accordion. The plan unraveled when Da Rosa demanded the accordion back. Police chief Jorge Kendrick ordered the return of all wives and children and Da Rosa received his accordion.
