Crucifixion re enactment highlights Easter message in Columbus
A 20 minute crucifixion drama staged outside the State house in Columbus drew attention to Easter’s religious meaning over commerce. Rita Warren of Fairfax Virginia organized volunteers from Virginia for the event and future performances nationwide. The costumed ten person group depicted Jesus and Roman soldiers as part of a First Amendment rights display.
