Pleased and Proud Grafton Fulbright Exchange Teacher
English teacher Joan Braken told the Midview School Board she was pleased to be teaching in the district taking over Carol Simonson's first grade class at Grafton School in January. Braken will return home soon as Simonson also returns from England around April 11. The board also addressed a two part grievance, granting a chair for the foreign language department but not for vocational programs and planned reports on department definitions and chair responsibilities at the April 10 meeting. They will develop guidelines to implement Missing Child Act requirements for handling student absences.
