Tanker rear-ends car on Ohio Turnpike killing 81 year old
An 81 year old Novelty man, Sidney A. Sheridan, died after his car was struck from behind by a tanker carrying liquid oxygen on the Ohio Turnpike in Amherst Township at 1:40 am. Kenneth Keiffer, 54, of Grafton, drove the tanker and survived with minor injuries. The tanker leaked but did not explode. venting proceeded as crews cleared the scene.
