Rural Lorain County Water Authority to raise rates this year and next
The Rural Lorain County Water Authority board voted to increase rates by 2 percent in July and another 2 percent in July 2018. The increases reflect higher supplier costs from Avon Lake Regional Water and the village of New London. By 2018, supplier rate hikes will total about 17 percent over four years.
