Wages of Sin Sermon at First E Church Remains Highlight
The Revist service at the First E church featured a strong finish to the ek work with a well received chorus and active participation after the sermon. The pastor preached on Romans 6 23 detailing sin as a real force and the wages of sin as death while outlining divine provisions for escape and eternal life. The service included the Sunday schedule and a series on sin with music led by the men in the evening. The Queen Esther Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal church held a regular meeting with twenty members present and plans to earn twenty five cents toward the yearly pledge while Geniveve Garretts led the program and Mrs J B Chap contributed an inspirational talk.
