Lorain County libraries seek bigger funding under Ohio bill
Ohio House passed a funding bill proposing 2.79 million for seven Lorain County libraries in 1986 with a planned 3.2 million in 1987. The measure shifts library support from the intangible tax to the state income tax and aims to raise per capita funding across counties, including Lorain and nearby towns.
