Former Lorain policeman and Elyria High security officer Gilbert S Kudrin, now a steel hauler, predicts the independent truckers strike will intensify in Ohio. He says food haulers are key, inflation has frayed the sector, and deregulation could hurt most operators while big firms benefit. He notes an Akron Canton meeting drew over 100 attendees and cites high diesel costs and unloading fees as pressures.
