Avon Lake golfer Bobby Bourne posted a four under second round, overcoming early bogeys and two doubles to fire a five birdie afternoon. He birdied the seventh after a long club approach, rolled additional birdies on Nos. 1 and 2, and finished with two late birdies to secure a share of 150000 dollars and a Montreal Open spot. Bourne’s improvement with short irons and a key scramble on a wayward tee shot highlighted the round, earning praise from sponsor Aqua Marine and tournament director Warren Levitt.
