Firelands High Mourns Soldier Steve Fogart Hunter
Firelands High School staff recall James Hunter a 2003 graduate killed in Afghanistan in a bomb blast while on foot patrol. The 25 year old staff sergeant and former Iraq veteran was praised as intelligent and articulate and a positive role model. His younger brother Tim is considering enlistment and a memorial may be planned at the school.
