The American Automobile Association notes that the Wayfarer IV cross country journey can be completed in three weeks with time for stops. President Thomas P. Henry cites accumulated experience as simplifying transcontinental touring for future motorists.

The Paige Jewett Salsa Company at 631 West Broad Street opened their sales and service rooms on Thursday evening June 17. They will handle Paige and Jewett cars with their Lorain branch and offer a full line of parts to the public. Mr Hire, local manager, has long been with Paige and will supervise. The Jewett is offered in seven models and the Paige 6 70 in eight models.
The Toledo factory uses about 1200 feet of steel tubing annually and has 12 miles of private railway track in its switching yards. It covers 5,232,436 square feet, roughly 120 acres. Annual copper brass use runs into millions of pounds and solder consumption reaches a million pounds. The plant relies on sturdy rear axle systems for the Model 91 and stores about 2500 distinct parts across large stock rooms.
The plant operates at a production capacity of 1,000 cars per eight hour day and the handling of parts before assembly employs hundreds of workers.
