Five Hurt After Ridgeville Road Collision Near Here

Five people were injured shortly after noon in a head on crash between a truck and private car five miles east of here on Ridgeville road. Injured were Marcus Michael of Fremont the truck driver slightly hurt. Frank Stranahan of Toledo with cuts to head and body. S. B. Stranahan Jr with hip head and body injuries. H. W. Wife Shot by Husband in Mistaken Burglar Attack

In Cincinnati on June 21 Mrs. Elizabeth Gordon, 74, was critically wounded when her husband Bud Gordon, 58, fired a shotgun after mistaking her for a burglar as she moved to close a window. The incident left her likely fatally shot in the abdomen. The report also notes alimony proceedings in which John Carpenter, a barber from Elyria, must pay $7.50 weekly.
