Police Deny Third Degree Tactics Tied To Morrow House Death
PRRINGTON New Jersey June 13 police and detectives deny third degree methods led to the suicide of Violet Sharpe a servant in the Morrow household amid Lindbergh kidnapping investigations. Inspector Walsh said Sharpe had only been questioned at the Morrow and Lindbergh homes. Col Schwarzkopf stated no undue pressure was used and Sharpe’s suicide followed a summons for a fifth examination. Police tied her disappearance to a ride with a man named Ernie and others, amid a tangle of statements from Brinkert and Miller as agents sought clarity. The case remains unresolved with Brinkert in Alpine assisting with remaining discrepancies.
