Burglar Crawls Between Rooms in Gulf Road Burglary
Deputies report a thief entered Vatley Inn on Gulf Road and Route 254 over the weekend by crawling on hands and knees. The intruder pried open a pinball machine, searched behind the counter, and tried to open the safe, taking about 25 dollars, three or four bottles of whiskey, a 45 caliber pistol, cigars, and leaving hand prints on the floor.
