Judge faces action over rape case remark
Hartford CT UPI report says a judge dismissed a rape conspiracy charge after saying You cant blame somebody for trying prompting calls for disciplinary review. Rep Paul LaRosa urged the Judicial Review Council to investigate Judge Walter Pickett, citing other alleged misconduct and Gov Ella Grasso agreed the matter should be reviewed. The case involves Raymond LaBelle and three co defendants in a Hartford kidnapping rape plot.
