In Marietta Ohio three well dressed men robbed the Commercial Bank at Lower Salem nine miles north of Marietta. They tied two bank employees and two others with rope, escaped in a car on Route 145 after taking 2500 dollars in paper money. One robber was armed. Henry Schenck untied the hostages later.
