Phone workers still unhappy after Ohio Bell walkout
Ohio Bell Telephone Co workers returned to duty after a wildcat strike led by the CWA Local 4309 amid staffing disputes for a two month information service. Union leader John W. Ryan said no progress in talks, planning a July 25 strike authorization if unresolved. About 400 to 500 workers were involved in Cuyahoga County.
