Miss Ohio 1971 Crowned At Cedar Point Pageant

Laurie Lea Schaefer Miss Central Ohio was named Miss Ohio 1971 at Cedar Point. Irene Sidorowicz Miss Lorain County won both the judges talent award and Miss Congeniality. Sidorowicz is a 20 year old Kent State student from Lorain and plans a career as a professional singer. About 2,700 attended the Cedar Point event as 10 semifinalists were chosen from 27 entrants.
