Fireman acquitted of sex charges in Oberlin area case
Olmsted Falls firefighter Robert Arida, 46, was found not guilty on three counts of sexual battery and two counts of gross sexual, after a bench trial. The incidents in 2004 and 2006 allegedly occurred at his Eaton Township home involving two girls, ages 18 and 14, with alcohol present. Arida remained on active duty with the Olmsted Falls Fire Department during the trial.
