Funds Could Abolish Northboro Taxes in Century

Northboro Massachusetts faces a distant tax-free future due to a long standing fund. Originating as 3000 dollars and now nearly 10000 dollars, it was left by a donor who wished the town to eventually owe no taxes. The will directed one sixth of income to add to principal and five sixths to the town church until nine hundred dollars was reached, with later distributions to the best mother in town and remaining income to town taxes. The latest report shows principal at 9791.52 dollars and annual income disbursed of 482.47 dollars.
