A collision on Fourth Street near East Avenue left Dewey, 20, and seven year old Ailla Dewey with arm injuries, one may require amputation. Mrs. Dewey, 17, and Mildred Mills, 10, sustained minor injuries. Vehicle driven by Leo K. of Valley City struck the Dewey car as it crossed East Avenue. All injured were taken to Me Hospital. Clyde Mills remains in fair condition.

Vacation trip end in crash near Oberlin
Mrs. Bernard Kruse and her 15 year old son Herold were injured when their car was crowded off the highway near Oberlin at 5:40 AM. The vehicle rolled twice before landing in a ditch.
