Raid on 8000 Gal Still Nets Nine Arrests in Coshocton
Nine men were arrested when 12 state liquor inspectors led by E. Cullison seized an 8,000 gallon still inside a three story barn on a farm in Oxford Township near the Tuscarawas county line. Russell Hart owned the property. Agents also seized 20,000 gallons of mash, 400 gallons of whisky, a 150 horsepower motor, a truck and three touring cars. The suspects were turned over to federal authorities.
