Veteran hijacker surrenders after transcontinental airliner drama
A bearded U.S. Navy veteran with family troubles surrendered to Argentine federal police with his Guatemalan girlfriend ending a 7,500 mile two-continent jet hijack from Texas to Algeria aboard a Braniff 707. Police escorted the duo as the hijacker raised a V sign and was led away.
