Artcrafters Hear Lawrence Torian On History Of Art
An audience at the YWCA heard Lawrence Tortan of Bay Village discuss portrait painting history and its therapeutic value. He traced from ancient Greek sculpture to 20th century photorealism, showing examples on canvas and an informal portrait of a member. He noted strong competition in advertising art and invited members to visit Karamu House in Cleveland in February.
