Elyria Council Sets Five Committee Meetings This Week
Five Elyria City Council committees schedule meetings this week and next with key city officials invited. Building lands meets tonight at 7 30 in council chambers with city planner and city engineer expected. finance and health sanitation meet Monday at 7 with AFSCME reps to discuss a city workers contract. Utilities meets Wednesday at 7 30 with safety service director and city engineer. A new item asks dedication of 120 feet of 13th Street east of Middle Avenue. Atty Richard Laux notes houses along the vacated strip and requests city street dedication. Two meetings next Thursday include community improvement development at 7 30 with city planner present and finance at 9 or after to work on the appropriation ordinance.
