Requests For Farm Help Are Being Received Here
The Farm Labor Office reports five requests for farm help received yesterday, three by telephone and two by personal talk. Veterans returning from service are not widely applying, though some who previously ran farms are going back as operators. The office plans a modified recruiting program, with potential imported help from Jamaica or Mexico later in the year.
