Keystone surged in the second half to rout Highland 62 to 34 and clinch a place in the Elyria Class AA Sectional final. Ron Shaw led with 17 points, Ken Deidrick 12, Kurt Gnandt 11, while Highland failed to reach double figures. Olmsted Falls looms in the title tilt next Friday at Elyria High.

Lori Seeley sparked Wellington to a 45-39 win over Oberlin to capture the Class AA sectional and earn a spot in the District Tournament. Oberlin led at halftime and early in the fourth, but Seeley and Laurie Nixon helped Wellington pull away in the final minutes. Oberlin’s Rolanda Jones 19 and Annette Walker 10 paced the Indians, while Wellington’s defense pressured the pace and forced turnovers. Wellington improves to 19-3 and meets Olmsted Falls in the district semifinals Tuesday.
