Amherst man admits theft of $4000 gold chalice
Amherst police say a 21 year old man admitted stealing a gem encrusted gold chalice from St Josephs Church in December. He led officers to the buried chalice in a family garbage landfill after claiming he was scared. Several other items were recovered. arraignment set for tomorrow in Oberlin Municipal Court.
