Probate court location debated by county officials
County Administrator James Cordes supports keeping Probate Court in the County Administration Building to serve taxpayers who must access auditor treasurer and recorder offices there. Horvath warns moving to the justice center would force seniors to cross streets and criticizes the court design. Judges pressed to keep the court in the justice center due to a planned family court merger, with up to 40000 spent on specialized equipment for the new probate office.
