Scientists announce seven Earth sized planets orbiting the ultracool dwarf TRAPPIST-1 at 39 light years, with several in the habitable zone. Planets appear rocky, possibly water rich, and in resonant, tidally locked orbits, suggesting a promising path to finding a second Earth.
